What does Solacia mean?

Pronunciation: so-LAH-see-uh

solace (noun: comfort or consolation in a time of distress or sadness) + ia (being in a state of) = Solacia. It is also the plural form of the Latin word Sōlācium meaning comfort, solace, relief, and consolation. Therefore, Solacia refers to multiple instances of comfort, solace, relief, or consolation.

This evolution marks our expansion to be more inclusive of other future healthcare documents, not just DNRs, to offer simple and accessible advance care planning resources, and a more personalized and holistic approach to future healthcare planning in order to provide peace of mind, comfort and relief, allowing you to live life fully and worry free.

Solacia's Mission:

To empower individuals to easily navigate the future healthcare planning process with peace of mind, control, and simplicity by providing clear resources and compassionate support services to simplify the process, ensuring your wishes are honored and making it easy to plan for the unknown future.

Understanding your Tomorrow, Today.

The Problem

Document location and retrieval should be easy and simply, right? When these documents (DNR/POLST/Advance Directive) are needed in a timely fashion, especially in an emergency, it's paramount they are easy to find.

If they aren't found or honored, it's not a document being dismissed, it's your voice.

The Solution

Everyone thinks it won't happen to them until it does. Being able to quickly access your documents is vital if you want your wishes and preferences honored.

Our simple and effective system allows first responders, family, and healthcare agents to immediately access critical documents, especially in an emergency, allowing for your wishes to be known and honored, no matter what.

Innovating Document Location for First Responders, Healthcare Agents and Family:

Our simple, yet effective, system ensures first responders, healthcare agents, or family can easily find your documents in the event of an emergency or otherwise.

Customer Testimonials

Seeing it daily on my door reminds me of the preciousness of the day!

- Patti M.

I received my kit today and I am very impressed with the quality of the kit. As someone who lives alone and has health issues, it is reassuring to know my end-of-life wishes will be available for emergency responders if I am unable to clearly communicate my wishes myself.

- Nancy B.

With the kit prominently displayed on our entrance door, first responders would have no trouble knowing our preference for treatment. The kit is attractive and hard to miss.
